Site Description:
This site is the family memorial site of Rev   Harold S. and Laura L. (Fry) Mars, now deceased. .
Rev. & Mrs Mars raised their family in Wakefield Rhode Island, Moving to Rochester NY in the
1950's and returning to Rhode Island in the 1960's. They were Native Americans of the
Narragansett Indian Tribe. Rev. Mars was born April 15, 1911 and Mrs Mars was born February
16,
1914. Rev. Mars parents were Rev. Christian Sherman Mars and Rosebud Thomas Mars. Laura
Mars parents were Harrison and Edith (Helme)Fry, All were born in late 1800s. Edith Fry was born
on the Narragansett Reservation and Laura went to the Indian school located there.
